Return Policy
If you are not fully satisfied with a purchase, you may be able to return the item and get a refund. You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive the selected products/items to start a return.
To return an item, visit the Online Order Status for assistance or call 800 850 0668 from
9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Items that cannot be returned:
- Memory with open packaging
- Open packaging software*
- Electronic Software Downloads
- Software Update Program Products (software updates)
* You can return software after rejecting the license terms as long as it is not installed on the computer. However, software containing a printed license cannot be returned if the seal or adhesive of the media packaging is damaged.
Online return process
You can make a return online after the items are shipped and the Invoice is issued.
- Visit the Order Status online.
- Log in with your Apple Account and password. If you have questions about your Apple Account, visit the Your Account section of Shopping Help.
- View the order details that contain the items you want to return.
- Click on the "Return Items" link.

The items on the order will be divided into two groups: those that can be returned online and those that cannot be returned. For each item that can be returned online, you will have to select the item, the reason for the return and if the packaging has opened. We will provide a refund of the full amount minus stocking fees, as applicable.
When the return request is submitted, you will receive an email confirmation with the return details. You are responsible for shipping the items to Apple, including shipping fees. If you have multiple items to return, you can put all of them in a box with the packaging note. We recommend using the original packaging if you are returning a computer.
Items must be received by Apple's return center within 14 calendar days of the return request and with an Invoice.
As soon as we receive the items, we will process the return, issue a refund and send you a return confirmation email.
Refund methods
Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. If you cancelled a pickup item and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancellation request. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:
- If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
- Products purchased from apple.com using an Apple Gift Card will be refunded to you as an Apple Gift Card by email.
- If you paid for any portion of an item with your Apple Account balance, and are owed a refund for returning or cancelling it, we issue that portion of refund back to your Apple Account balance. However, we will issue this refund amount on an Apple Gift Card by email if your Apple Account balance is at or near the maximum limit.

Incorrect or damaged items
If you receive a wrong product or that has been damaged during transportation, please contact Apple Store Customer Service at 800 850 0668 from 9am to 9pm.
Problems with a product
If you have problems with the new Apple product, visit Product Support or contact AppleCare Technical Support. and you are having problems with a non-Apple-branded product, contact the manufacturer in question directly for information on the warranty offered.
iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch Returns - Wireless Service Cancellation
Wireless service providers have different service cancellation policies. Returning your device may not cancel or reset your wireless service account. You are responsible for your service contract and any amounts associated with your account. Contact your carrier for more information.
